Multilanguage · Free Download

Run your auction site in any language.

The free Translations Pack ships ready-made language files for PHP Pro Bid. Upload them from your admin panel, tick the languages you want, and your buyers browse, bid, and check out in their own language — no developer, no code, no extra cost.

One platform, every buyer's language

PHP Pro Bid runs on gettext translations — each language is a pair of files (a .po source and a compiled .mo) holding every piece of text the site displays. The Translations Pack gives you those files ready-made, so you skip the translation work entirely and go straight to a live, multilingual site.

Visitors pick their language from the front-end selector and see the whole platform — listings, navigation, checkout, and system emails — in their own words. It's included free on every plan: License, Cloud, and Managed VPS.

Don't see your language? You can create any language yourself from the admin panel — PHP Pro Bid generates a fresh file set from the English base, ready to translate in a free editor such as Poedit. See the Multilanguage guide, or contact us about additional prepared languages.
How It Works

From download to live language in three steps

Everything happens in your admin panel under Site Content → Translations. No server access and no coding required.

1

Download the pack

Grab the free Translations Pack and unzip it. You'll find a .po and .mo file for each prepared language.

2

Upload & activate

In Translations, use Upload to add a language's files, give it a label, and tick Active to publish it.

3

Buyers switch & bid

The language appears in the front-end selector. Visitors choose it and see the entire site in their own language, instantly.

Why It Matters

A wider audience, without a second build

Selling in your buyers' own language removes friction at exactly the moments that decide a sale — registration, bidding, and checkout.

Reach buyers you'd otherwise miss

A bidder who can read the listing in their own language is a bidder who registers and bids. Open your auctions to non-English speakers without commissioning a separate site.

Trust at the checkout

People pay with confidence when the payment step speaks their language. Fewer abandoned carts, fewer support questions, more completed sales.

Your terminology, your way

Because the files are editable, you can fine-tune the wording — your own labels for lots, buyers, and sellers — in any language, straight from a free gettext editor.

FAQ

Common questions

Is the Translations Pack really free?
Yes. The Translations Pack is included free with every PHP Pro Bid plan — License, Cloud, and Managed VPS. There is no per-language charge and no ongoing fee. Download it, upload the language files from your admin panel, and activate the languages you want.
Do I need a developer to install a language?
No. Each language is a pair of gettext files — a .po source file and a compiled .mo file — that you upload from Admin Control Panel → Site Content → Translations. Set a label, tick Active, and the language appears in the front-end language selector for your visitors. No code changes are required.
Can I run more than one language at the same time?
Yes. PHP Pro Bid can run any number of languages simultaneously. Visitors choose their language from the front-end selector and each sees the whole site in their chosen language, including listings, checkout, and system emails.
What if my language isn't in the pack?
You can create any language yourself. From the Translations page, click Create Translation, choose the locale, and PHP Pro Bid generates a fresh set of files copied from the base English strings. Open the .po file in a free editor such as Poedit, translate the strings, and upload the files back. You can also contact us to ask about additional prepared languages.
Can I edit the wording of an existing translation?
Yes. Download any language's .po file, edit the strings in a gettext editor such as Poedit (which compiles the .mo file for you on save), then upload both files back. This lets you adjust terminology to match your business — for example your own labels for lots, buyers, and sellers.
