The buying process

A complete shopping cart and checkout — built in

Buyers add products from any listing and see a running total in the header mini cart — with quick links to view the cart or check out at any time.

Full cart management

Adjust quantities, remove items, empty the cart, or move items to a wish list for later. Buyers keep browsing and the cart persists across the session.

For marketplace owners

Turn your platform into a revenue-generating marketplace

Let other sellers do the listing work while you earn fees from every transaction on your platform. PHP Pro Bid gives you complete control over who sells, what they pay, and how your marketplace runs.

A marketplace built on PHP Pro Bid puts you in the role of platform owner — not just seller. Vendors register, create their own accounts, list their own products, manage their own orders, and handle their own customer communications. You set the rules, collect the fees, and own the platform entirely.

Unlike SaaS marketplace platforms, there's no percentage of your GMV going to a third party. Your fee income is your fee income — all of it.

Revenue streams you control

Listing feesCharged when a vendor lists an item
Relisting feesCharged when unsold listings are renewed
Final value feesCommission on completed sales
Featured listing upgradesVendors pay extra for prominent placement
Subscription membershipsMonthly/annual seller memberships with perks

Vendor registration & approval

New sellers register through a self-serve flow. You approve or reject applicants, set seller tiers, and control what each group can list and how many items.

Individual seller storefronts

Every vendor gets a dedicated storefront page with their profile, feedback score, and active listings — building buyer trust across the whole marketplace.

Seller dashboards

Vendors manage their own listings, orders, and account settings from a self-service dashboard. Less admin work for you, more independence for them.

Fee collection & invoicing

PHP Pro Bid tracks fees owed by each seller, generates invoices automatically, and supports both prepay credits and end-of-period billing cycles.

The best of both

Sell your own stock and run a marketplace — at the same time

PHP Pro Bid doesn't force you to choose. Run your own listings alongside vendor listings on the same platform. Many successful platforms start as a single-seller store and open up to external vendors as they grow.

Common questions

Questions about marketplace setup

Can I run both a webstore and a marketplace on the same installation?

Yes. PHP Pro Bid supports both simultaneously. You can list your own products at fixed prices while also allowing external vendors to register and sell alongside you. No separate installations needed.

How do I collect fees from my vendors?

PHP Pro Bid tracks fees automatically — listing fees, relisting fees, and final value fees are logged against each seller's account. You can bill on a prepay credit system or issue invoices at the end of each billing cycle.

Do buyers have to create an account to purchase?

By default, buyers register an account. You can configure guest checkout behavior through your admin settings depending on your preference for buyer tracking and repeat purchase flows.

Can I add auction listings alongside fixed-price listings?

Yes, that's one of PHP Pro Bid's core differentiators. Timed auctions and fixed-price Buy Now listings coexist on the same platform. Buyers can bid, or buy immediately; your choice per listing.

Which payment gateways are supported?

PHP Pro Bid supports PayPal, Stripe, and a range of other gateways out of the box. Because you self-host the software, payments go directly to your account — PHP Pro Bid takes no cut.

Is there a limit on the number of vendors or listings?

No artificial limits are imposed by the software. Scalability depends on your hosting environment. The managed VPS plan is recommended for large-volume marketplaces with many active vendors.
